About Whose Tweet?
A small, free party game made by the Whose Tweet? Team.
Whose Tweet? is a guessing game for a group of friends and one phone. Everyone writes a short post to the same prompt, the posts come back without names, and the group tries to work out who wrote what. It's a simple idea that gets loud quickly.
We built it to be easy to start in a living room, at a family dinner or in the last ten minutes of a team meeting. There's nothing to download and no one has to sign up. The whole game is a single web page that keeps working even if your connection drops after it loads.
How the game handles your posts
Posts you write in the game stay in the browser tab where you play them. They are never uploaded, never stored on a server and never posted to X or any other social network. Close the tab and the round is gone. The only thing the page remembers is the list of player names, saved on your own device so you don't have to type them again next time. You can read the details on our privacy page.
Who we are
The site is written and maintained by the Whose Tweet? Team, a small group that builds simple browser games and writes about running good game nights. We wrote every prompt in the game ourselves and add new ones from time to time. If you have one that worked well at your table, send it to us.
A note on the name and the domain
The name points at the old style of short public posts most people still call tweets. Whose Tweet? is an independent game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to X Corp. or Twitter, and it doesn't use their service in any way.
This website was relaunched in 2026 under new, independent management. It has no connection to earlier owners of the domain or to anything published on it before.
